Minor adaptations to the OT's specification
We fit to the occupational therapist's recommendations: rail positions, heights and lengths, ramp gradients and threshold changes. If the wall or ground will not take what has been specified, we tell you before we start, not after.

Damp and mould, with Awaab's Law timescales in mind
Awaab's Law has applied to social housing since 27 October 2025, setting deadlines for investigating and fixing damp and mould hazards. We survey, treat, fix the cause and report back quickly, so your case file shows what was found and what was done.
Disabled Facilities Grant works
We quote and carry out the minor adaptation side of DFG-funded work, with itemised quotes the council can approve. Because we are not VAT registered, the price quoted is the price paid.

Do you work with occupational therapists directly?
Yes. We are happy to take referrals from OTs and home improvement agencies, and to fit to their written recommendations.
Can you help us meet Awaab's Law timescales?
We can survey, treat and fix the cause of damp and mould promptly and give you a written report, which supports your own records and deadlines. Contact us to agree how quickly you need us to attend.
Do you add VAT?
No. Hands On is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT on our quotes.
