What we do and why
Hands On Property Maintenance is a family-run business based in Harold Wood, on the Essex and East London border. We specialise in the work that makes the biggest difference to the people living in a building: disability adaptations such as grab rails, handrails and ramps, damp and mould treatment, and the roofing and guttering repairs that keep water out.
Most of our clients are responsible for other people's homes: care homes, assisted and supported living services, housing associations, letting agents, landlords and block managers. They need work done safely around residents, recorded properly, and priced clearly.
That is why every member of our team is DBS-checked, every job comes with a photo report, and because we are not VAT registered, the price we quote is the price you pay.
Our sister company
For automatic doors, fire doors, accessible entrance doors and glazing, we work alongside our sister company, Essex Door & Window Repairs. Between us we can cover the whole route into and around a building.
